QOPT sp. z o.o. starts collaboration with Fiberhost S.A.

Quantum Optical Technologies sp. z o.o. (QOPT) has commenced collaboration with Fiberhost S.A. on securing data transmission in fiber-optic access networks using the innovative Optical Key Distribution (OKD) technology developed by QOPT. Joint activities will include a technical analysis of OKD protocols in multiuser network scenarios. “Cooperation with Fiberhost S.A. is the first step towards the deployment of our OKD technology in passive optical networks, which offers a number of advantages compared to alternative solutions that are currently explored” said Professor Konrad Banaszek, QOPT Co-founder and Scientific Advisor.
